The Top 3 Sights For Airbnb Guests in Sydney

Sydney_Harbour_Bridge_from_Circular_Quay

So far we have had 16 Airbnb guests stay with us since we began our Airbnb hosting journey and these are the top 3 things to do and see in Sydney that they have been doing.

1. Harbour Bridge/Opera House

The most popular thing to do is head down to Circular Quay to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Our recommended itinerary is to head to Milsons Point via train, head down to Ripples Cafe for a coffee with incredible views, followed by a stroll through Bradfield Park for a photo then back to Kirribilli shops to grab a bottle of water before walking across the bridge back to the city. We recommend that those who want a bit of adventure try Bridgeclimb (expensive though) but if not then climb the south eastern pylon to a magnificent and little known view.
at the Sydney Harbour Bridge Pylon Lookout.

Once done, head down to the Rocks for some lunch, (we suggest Sailors Thai and Sake) then walk around Circular Quay to the Opera House. The backstage tour is good and also gets you discount on tickets, however the most popular thing so far is to head down to the Opera Bar for a cool drink, an iconic photo opportunity and something to nibble on.

2. Bondi to Bronte coastal walk.

The coastal route from Bondi to Bronte beach is not only popular with the locals, tourists are increasingly taking up one of Australis great coastal walks. We suggest that they start at South Bondi, walk down to Bronte, have a quick swim and relax on Bronte beach then return and have a cold beer & some lunch at Icebergs Swimming Club. The perfect thing to do in Sydney on a sunny day.

3. Manly Ferry

The Manly Ferry is the best and cheapest method to see Sydney Harbour if you want to avoid overpriced tourist cruises & tourists and can be combined with #1 above to make a great day out. Head from Circular Quay from Wharf 3 to Manly then walk through to Manly Beach for a swim, then head back to the Wharf to either Hugos for lunch with a view (both inside and outside) or to the Manly Wharf Hotel for a beer with a view. When you’ve had enough sun, sights and food, grab the ferry back to the city.
